I love shooting Oregon State University's graduation ceremony. I graduated from the great institution 22 years ago, and because of various reasons I did not "walk". I regret that decision every time I photograph the ceremony. OSU does graduation right. Graduates line up all throughout campus by college, and then they start the procession at one end of campus and wind their way through, picking up the students from each different college as they work their way to Reser Stadium. As the 4000 plus graduates march in to Reser together, the place goes crazy with family and friends cheering them on. I'm looking forward to attending as one of those family members when one or both of my daughters graduate from OSU, and for sure in two years when my wife Shari finishes her MBA. #GoBeavers

Spring Football
I will admit that Spring Football Game is not my favorite thing in the world. To quote the great Allen Iverson, "were talkin' practice" but I really like this website the OSU Athletics department is using to showcase my photos. Looking forward to what we can do with real game photos next fall. You can see the photos here. #GoBeavs

Oregon State's Women's Basketball Tourney 2014
I just updated my website with photos from my trip with the OSU women's basketball team to Seattle in March for the 2014 NCAA women's basketball team. It was a great trip. The team, coaches and staff made me feel part of the family. Head Coach Scott Rueck let me photograph anything and everything I wanted. It was a great experience and here are a few of the 5000 or so photo's I took.
Highway 101 Fish Stand
Assignments have taken me to Lincoln City for the last two days. I have passed this old fish stand many times and always thought I should stop and take some photos. Today on my way back to Corvallis I decided to stop. I talked to the owner for a while, he was a great guy and gave me the history of the place. Built in the 1930's he even had old photos to show me. He has owned it for 40 years.
Pro Day
I had never been to or photographed a pro day before. Pro Day is when scouts and coaches from NFL teams come to campus to measure, time, talk to and evaluate senior football players who want to play professional football. Here are a few images from the day.
